City College to host Safety Day for gun violence prevention

Safety Day is Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at City College.

The City College Student Senate and Clubs and Events Board (CAEB) will host their newly announced event, “Safety Day” that will take place Jan. 28 in the Student Center.

In response to the shooting that occurred on campus last fall, Student Senate President Marianna Sousa said she began planning Safety Day to emphasize safety awareness and crisis prevention for students at school, home and community.
