Erotic City

City College brings a little naughty and a lot more to campus Feb. 10-13 with Sex⊕City, the region’s first-ever, four-day Sex Positive movement event.

Sex⊕City—pronounced Sex Positive City—seeks to educate and promote healthy ideas regarding sexuality in an educational environment through a week of stigma-free Sex Positive fun and events. Topics will range from safe sex to issues such as stereotypes in mainstream media and body image.

Women’s basketball team overwhelmed in blowout

The women’s basketball team suffered one of their worst losses this season after spending more than five second-half minutes trailing by 20 or more Jan. 21 as the aggressive Vikings took it to the Panthers on their home floor, defeating City College 71-58.

Panthers lose to Hawks

A strong showing on defense was not enough for City College’s women’s basketball team when failing to find a rhythm on offense Jan. 14 cost Panthers the game, losing on the road to the Cosumnes River College Hawks 51–44.
