The Middle Passage event recreated the trans-continental experience undertaken by many African slaves hundreds of years ago. Students in attendance were blindfolded for approximately one hour in order to achieve a high impact visualization of the Middle Passage. The event, sponsored by the Associated Student Government, Staff Resource Center, Los Rios Classified Employee Association, Behaviorial and Social Science Department and The Learning Resource Center, took place April 24.
